Abstract

Patients underwent periodic clinical together with radiological follow-up examinations. All patients showed clinical improvement together with oral lesions resolved 2-4 weeks afterwards treatment. After an average 14-month follow upward period, patients remained asymptomatic. Although non conclusive, the combination of necrotic-bone curettage together with platelet-rich-plasma to process refractory osteonecrosis of the jaw yielded promising results.
